Battle Royale

Video game genre in which a large number of players fight to survive. The last one standing wins. Titles like Fortnite or Player Unknown's Battleground (PUBG) belong to this genre. The name "Battle Royale" comes from the homonymous novel by the Japanese writer Koushun Takami.
