Crunch

The crunch is a toxic labour practice whereby workers must work overtime to complete a project. It usually occurs when the game cannot be delayed, and still needs to launch on the planned date. It is not a question of punctual overwork but of the surplus of continuous work and the human, labour and artistic consequences that this implies.
