The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna (Tonguç Bodur) is an open-world game where we explore an enormous map with no load times. Why? To find out what has happened in Ranchiuna, the protagonist's home, while he was absent for his studies. Mystery and immersion blend in this narrative adventure.

Ranchiuna is the setting of the game and the place where the protagonist was born. Although he left to pursue his university studies, he returned and found a deserted town. What happened here?


The main attraction of this indie is its open world without any loading screen. Therefore, you can go from one end of the map to the other with total freedom and without any waiting by alternating between first and third-person perspectives.


As usual in Tonguç Bodur games, surrealism and fantasy are essential during the adventure. In The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna, various spectres will appear to the protagonist to guide him on his journey.


The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna emphasizes immersion with a vivid world full of visual effects but also atmospheric sound design. Together with the music of Molo Dimolo, this indie promises a unique acoustic experience.

The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna is one of the latest titles from Tonguç Bodur, and EastAsiaSoft asked us to bring it from PC to all consoles: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.

The biggest challenge of the porting process was taking an open world without loading screens to consoles like Nintendo Switch. In that sense, we use our knowledge of Unreal Engine to ensure smooth and stutter-free performance.
